I noticed today Lowes has all their Halloween decorations displayed right across the aisle from a ton of Christmas decorations.

Been told they get started early, as the customers like to start early.
Both mentioned holidays typically have a lot of outdoor decorations, where Thanksgiving not so much.
So get those decorations available. Many folks like to get outdoor lights up before the cold, blowing, and snow.
…and Merry Christmas
I go to Sams Club every week for club supplies and a couple of other places that we shop for and I noticed last Monday that the Halloween decorations had dwindled down appreciably and the Christmas stuff displays were in full bloom. Way, way too early in my opinion. Bob
Lots of roadside signs out for advertising folks who install outdoor decorating and lighting.
Yeah, there's several guys that do that here. Seems each season more of a demand for it too. Landscaping and tree services are jumping in.
The stores around here have had Halloween candy out since the end of August. Next week I expect the Christmas decorations.
Everyone is in such a hurry to get on to the NEXT BIG THING that they forget to enjoy the here and now. Very sad. It can really suck the joy right out of things.
Agreed. Today is a beautiful day and I appreciate it.
I'll put up some Christmas lights and decorations but not until I've finished digesting Thanksgiving dinner. And I don't care about Halloween at all.

Cracker Barrel had their Christmas stuff out almost a month ago.
I won’t put up the outdoor Christmas decorations till early December
Bah humbug
A couple years ago we tossed our tree and went looking for a smaller one. It was frustrating because it was just after Halloween, but they were already sold out of any medium sized decent looking tree. You would have thought we were looking for a tree the week before Christmas with how "sold out" everyone already was.
