I saw an airplane doing some serious acrobatics and swore that a couple times I was gonna watch him auger in. My first thought was "who the heck let Mr. Perfect get behind the controls of an airplane"!?

Blowing through Athol is not exactly an accomplishment.

I have no idea what Athol is, but I hope Mr. P is safe!🙀
The way I read and pronounce words like Athol would get me into some kind of trouble these days. 😁
Athol is a town in MA , nice place
is that right beside the town in PA????????
This was Athol, Idaho, just a bit north of Coeur d'Alene. Wish I'd had time for a visit.
I have bumped into Mr. P on several occasions…….Great fella he is.
Don’t forget Athol MD.
Yessir. Had breakfast with him in Post Falls a few years back. S
How can I forget it if I never knew about it!
When doing aerobatics There is safety in altitude. When doing aerobatics close to the ground it comes under the heading: There are old pilots and bold pilots, but there are no old bold pilots.
Years ago I used to fly into Athol airport. Back then it was called Henley Aerodrome. They held annual fly-ins there and I have many good memories from there. A guy named Gary Norton bought it and later turned much of the property into an amusement park and calls it “Silverwood”. I have not been to the Park but hear it is quite well done.

Cool. Didn't know this tidbit of trivia, but certainly heard the name Silverwood
The guy was flying right across the road from Silverwood. I swear, he jinked that plane around so hard I thought he was gonna rip the wings right off.
He was “ yankin’ and bankin’ and boring holes in the sky. Much fun! Did my share of it and never ripped the wings off!!
