Could i get a refund please? it was supposed to be here on the 7th, now its the 10th they lost it and now there is no tracking info on this package at all ?
I replied:
It is on its way to you. A little patience is good. (He was wrong about the tracking. Parcel is en route, and I gave him a link to the tracking.)
Postmaster in a previous late arrival said no package is missing until 30 days have elapsed.
He answered:
I AM NOT WAITING30 DAYS, I ran a business for 45 years and i can tell you this statementis true, THE SQUEEKY WHEEL GETS THE GREASE, translation = get on thephone and raise holy hell with that postmaster, make him find it and ridehis * till he does. I have had to do it a 1000 times.
(Really?? 1000 times??)
So, here is my rejoinder:
You claimed it does not show up on tracking and that is untrue.
I have also a bit of experience in these matters and I can tell you that 3 days late is no reason for concern.
I don’t “raise holy hell” with anyone, and I do business with a part-time post office.
Your order will turn up or I will make it good to you. Please don’t tell me what to do or how to conduct my business.
Keep watching the tracking, as will I.
I'm beginning to hope the post office will declare it undeliverable and return it. Then, I can refund this gentleman's money and sell the item to a more reasonable person.

My last two took two weeks with priority which means nothing. Both buyers were patient and then they just show up with tracking from my drop point to their city- 🥺😳.
Ohhh….aren't those guys so much fun!
Some people wake up looking for a "hill to die on" and aren't ever truly happy with anything…not ever.
As soon as the hurricanes started hitting, the package carrying people started having problems. Understandably.
All over the country.
Some People are a PITA and prove it every day
Besides, he lost count. It was really 1012 times, at 188 miles per hour, worls clas.😉
Yes they are, and they make sure everybody knows it.
Unless there's been a change the only business I've ever dealt with that knows how to use tracking correctly is the railroads, they could tell me within a mile or so of where a box car was at any time it was moving, if it was side-tracked they could tell me where the box car was sitting. All other shipping companies and the USPS are just playing a game called "tracking" causing headaches between buyers & sellers.

Which hurricanes, the ones that started several YEARS ago! Thats how long our deliveries have been crappy. Sometimes packages arrive on time, most arrive very late, and a good portion are lost. Esp the USPS.
I do agree, the buyer should have more patience. Esp knowing the delivery system in the USA is, and has been mismanaged for years!
Just sayin'
I checked tracking and found his parcel was at the post office waiting for him to pick it up.
Happy ending!
Did you yell at him to go pick it up? You probably should have. The guy sounds like a real piece of work.

Junkballer USPS is so good I sometimes have a package before their tracking program notices it has shipped.
Real good news.
and now you will hear NOTHING from this buyer - not even a Thank You or I received my package. Watch out now for unjustified negative feedback
