FYI, PMs clean up

I've been going through my list of PMs. There are pages and pages. I hit "leave conversation" on many. That removes each individual PM from my list. The PM will still remain in any other person's list that was part of the conversation. If you were part of PM with me and see it says, "just you" that means you are the only person left in the conversation.
When all parties of a PM leave conversation it then goes to archives.
If just you leaves a PM, it will remove from your list only.
You may or may not want to clear PMs.

I feel for, I hate to say but better you than me , what a boring procedure to go thru all the post
I would put you in for a pay increase if I could
along with all the moderators
You all will just have to accept a thank you
Wish I could delete mines.
PMs, are not posts, they are private messages. Easy enough to clean up.
why cant you???
Exactly
Ah I clicked on "leave conversation". Had this been a simple one word "delete" I would've been able o figure it out sooner. Conversation as if they were. So now the box is clean. Yay. Here I've been living with old messages of reprimand like out breaks of herpes.
But, as I explained its' not a delete, just you 'leaving conversation' so delete would be the wrong word.
Or just leave them then, and don't leave conversation.
Even if a person, regardless if they started the conversation or not, leaves a conversation it does not delete any content. It only removes it from their list of PMs. All content of PM stays intact and visible to any others in the conversation.
PMs are not deleted.
