Can you experts tell me if this Rockola stock is fake? CMP says it is. 4 other people say it is. Seller says it is legit. I say it is not.

I think the weapon in OP is a .30 carbine. Not a Garand.
Mark told me he knew very little about the M-1 carbine's
I should of specified that it was a M1 Carbine stock. Ive only been collecting 3 years so I am an amateur for sure. I am learning every day. Thank you for any help.
I do have a picture of an early and late RMC mark and the box surrounding the letters do not touch them. The mark on that stock isn't a box, just the top and bottom have lines on the letters, not correct for a Roc-Ola stock. Since it is an "I" cut stock making it into a fake would make it very valuable, $500 plus who knows, a neophyte would suck that stock up in a minute and pay thru the nose to have it.
I thought Mark passed away a while ago.
Yeah, I bought this from a guy I have bought from in the past. I did not examine the pictures thoroughly before I purchased it. When I got around to really look at the pics, my jaw dropped. It was a very bad attempt at turning a type 2 carbine stock into a type 1 Rockola M1 carbine stock. I verified it as a fake through documents and sending pics to some friend collectors. They also said fake. I messaged the seller and demanded a refund. He absolutely flipped out. Luckily it was bought through Ebay and i was protected. Come to find out he has sold this same stock a few times and it was returned. Luckily I will get my $800 back through Ebay protection. Thanks for letting me share. As far as Mark, I don't know who that is.
You stated in your newbie intro you collect both Carbine and garand. As I said of Mark, he was a former admin here, and expert on the garand. He passed away 2yrs ago. I brought up some of his post as examples of his knowledge, and in hopes it still holds interest and may help at some point. Sorry for causing confusion.
