Meatloaf will NOT leave Shelby alone...she is his favorite

Meatloaf is our 1 yr old MaineCoon cat. He is around 27 lbs and a giant lazy thing. He doesn't like being held…petted….doesn't play much….doesn't like attention of any kind much at all. EXCEPT he luuuuvvvs Shelby. She comes in and he is perched on her desk like she is the best thing he's ever laid eyes on. He can't get enough of her. The head rubs, batting her hands, the way he stares at her….its almost obscene.

She was trying to get him off her desk so she can get some work done…..he refuses to let that happen.

Some of you have corresponded with Shelby. She is a major part of our operation here. She handles all of the invoices, payments and phones. (….and is meatloaf's girl, if she likes it or not)

Number two wants a MaineCoon so bad. Won't shell out the exorbitant amount of money to buy one. She's trying to talk son-in-law into letting her have one of my part Siamese kittens. She says that may be as one as she can get to an exotic. 😆

They adopted two kitties a few years ago and he adores them. But, with three kids, two cats and two standard poodles he believes they have enough.

I have never met a MaineCoon. How much do they eat?

I'll tell you this for free….the three "free" cats we have are sweeter, they play more, they appreciate "loving" and are super friendly. We have a male and my son has a female. They are both gorgeous, but the other cats are more fun. The two Maine * aren't bad at all….they are just not as "cat-like" as the other ones.

Years ago I fed and watered a neighbors 2 maincoons for a week, I had to close them out of the kitchen fill their bowls then run. Good watch dogs.

I had a cat that looked sorta like that a long time ago. He took no crap from a dog. Ever.

We had a garage sale and Smith the cat was lounging on the driveway. A mommy and her daughter were looking over our stuff. Mommy saw Smith and said to daughter, "Did you see the cat?"

    Daughter replied, "That's not a cat. It's a dog."
