cooking as I type, another leftover recipe. What ever is leftover in the fridge that is red goes in the crockpot. Didn't have any beans so small bowl of baked beans went in. clean out the fridge and quick easy dinner……

Chili with beans? Mmmm...
I'd eat it. Boy howdy
Sounds like an edible plan to me.
Sounds like good eating to me !!!!!
I went to my fridge after reading this and about the only red I found was a half bowl of red JELLO, ketchup, Franks Hot Sauce, and a bag of apples.
I've often wondered why you West Virginians were so skinny! 😁
They do have two pan handles.
Sound yummy to me, enjoy.
Sounds more like "Whatcha Got?" stew than proper chili. But as the saying goes, if you don't have what you like, try to like what you have.
had a small bowl of sloppy joe, about 1/3 jar picante sauce, two hamburger patties (did have to chop them), one sausage patties (chop it), small bowl baked beans, can tomato soup, and bowl of spaghetti sauce, then few spices to liven it up a little and can of tomato paste to thicken it, little hot sauce and small bowl of banana peppers only thing not really red. grandson ate 2 bowls and is still kicking today so guess it wasn't to bad……..
Wife made homemade chili the other night. Enjoyed it as always.
Wife fixed homemade vegetables beef soup tonight and fried cornbread . Had a Klondike bar for desert
Now that sounds good. We have a recipe for vegetable soup we make once a year during winter, takes a while to make, but well worth it.
I had a Klondike bar for breakfast!
I guess that is better than going to a bar in the Klondike for breakfast 😁
I think the Klondike is a little too cold for me
sounds good to me
I am going to the freezer and get a Klondike.
always a good treat
Hey! Klondike's come in 6 packs around here, which makes me subconsciously think just ONE will never do. 😵
This has worked very well in the BEER industry too!
Coincidence, I don’t think so.
Bought two six packs last grocery store run .down to 7 left .
Remember: Any package that doesn't re-seal is a single serving. It stands to reason.
That's funny, When I go to grocery store about once a week, I'd have to buy 2 30 packs to only have 7 left.. Oh, I'm usually down to about 4 on the day I go… yes I know I drink too much beer, but it is my most consistent things I do, we all gotta be good at something.
I love and hate this time of the year. I make all of the hearty meals, ours was beef stew. Chili is one of our other favorites.
I love them for their flavor, hate them because I have to constantly battle to keep the pounds off because I love some fresh baked biscuits with both.
You just need to get yourself a pair of Yosh's "Eating Pants" SW0320 ! 😁
…not sure what that is but its not like any chili I've heard of but, I admit I'm just a chili snob… spent decades working out my recipe…finally got it right by adding one ingredient I would have NEVER thought of that I found in some yankees' chili recipe, go figure…slow cooks all day, in the fridge overnight for the flavors to meld together…any chili someone likes is "good" chili…
@Texas1911DE , you wouldn't mind sharing that one ingredient you took so long to find with us here would you? I have a BIG craving now to make some CHILI !! 😛
(Beans??)
(Beans??)
of course got to have beans
Eating Pants will also allow you to vent out the beans quickly. Pull the front out, vent and wave the hand over to dissipate. Oh you know everyone likes their own brand.
wifey made a big pot yesterday
