Another year in the books….. My bride is running me around tomorrow. A doctor appt to get started. Then a trip to an indoor range to punch some holes in targets. A little walk around a couple gun shops and Bass Pro. A nice lunch at a BBQ place to top the day off !
66 sounds funny, but that is reality. I guess I better shoot one of my S&W 66's tomorrow !!!

Good for you ,happy birthday .
Happy Birthday, your day sounds great (except for that Dr. appointment thing).
Happy Birthday to you.
Happy birthday
May you have many more to follow
Happy birthday, have that great day you described and many more.
Never realized we were so close on b days. You have a month on me.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Frank!!
Seems like those trips get shorter every year, especially after 25. Have a good birthday!
Happy Birthday!
You mean to tell us you're not turning 29, too !!?? Happy, happy birthday!
Hope you have a good trip!
Happy Birthday, and have a great day.
Frank I hope you enjoy your Birthday, sounds like you will. Like Joe I'm not far behind you as I will be 66 first week in Feb.
Happy Birthday!
You are gaining, but you ain't caught me yet!
Pretty cool the 3 of us right there together. And, Lady Rae isright there with us too, as far as timing of birthday, not same age as us old men. Good company, I'm honored.
happy birthday
Thanks all…. It was a good day…
The Dr Appt went better than I expected. Some more tests next Monday, but optimistic things will all turn out well. My Bride drove me around the whole day…
Headed to Ammo Alley, an indoor range and fired five different firearms including .22LR, .22Mag, 5.7, .380 and 9mm. 25 Rds per firearm. I shot at ranges between 7 and 15 yards. Some double taps and off hand shooting.
Got a Face Time call from my Granddaughters, son and DIL and then a call from my other son…
Headed out for a nice lunch at Appleby's and hit a couple shops to look around. The weather turned out better today than expected so I spent the final hours of daylight in a comfortable deer blind. I was watching "Mr. Funky" for over 20 minutes. He has a beautiful 5pts on the right side and a wonkey 5 pts hanging down on the other. I had him within range at 200 yards, but he never gave me a clean shot. He finally turned and walked into the woods. But it was a good hunt and the last day of rifle season. Maybe I can get a shot at him during Primitive season next month !
So as far as I am concerned this was about the best way I could come up with to spend my 66th Birthday !!!
My view out of the deer blind..
We are a bunch of vintage guys and a nice young lady !
Awesome way to spend the day. Happy birthday.
I can vaguely remember 66. Turning 78 soon.
Have outlived two GPs, an eye doctor, a dentist, two kidney docs, and two barbers. Some died, most retired.
Our current dentist was taught by my wife - when he was in pre-school. Does THAT make us feel old!
