Cat distribution system

Apparently once you reach a certain age, are female, and live alone there is this thing called the cat distribution system. It kicked in at my house and over the course of time it has delivered shades of gray cats to me.
Some might recall the siamese kittens and one gray kitten the stray mama cat birthed in my tub. I have rehomed the siamese. No one spoke up for the gray one so I kept her.
I now have Max, Shadow and Missy thanks to the CDS.

Better to have CDS than TDS!!
We have just about ever varation of cats due to wonder in and dropped off in the county
Spoiled cats…..We have some of those too.
Ours came for a visit five years ago in a heavy snow storm and hasn't left yet.
To me, 'cat distribution' would mean a cat in each barn or outbuilding. I've not figured out how to achieve this as they keep congregating at the food bowl closest to the house.
Sometime back, a large black tomcat took up residence in my 'west barn'. I didn't feed it but neither did I discourage it. Worked out fine until it began fighting with the other cats then it 'went away'. Latest walk in applicant is a large yellow tom which seems almost tame that hangs around the barns and only shows up near the house ocassionally.
No need to leave when the gravy train pulls into the station several times a day…… At least that's the way it works at our place.
Ours knows the train
schedule, 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
If I would drag home a kitten my wife would leave me. Seriously!! Kinda makes me wonder if a kitten would be a real easy problem solver.😂
They can be used for home defense, also.
