I need to make a gasket for a very old forklift carb/intake. I've used a few different rtv numbers but never had to look at gasoline compatibility. Any suggestions guys?
It's too late for me, save yourself.

Jeff, I never used this specific application, but have used 'Permatex' products in the past with great results. Good luck.
Permatex Permashield 85420. Loctite makes Oil and Gas 1252795. Gas and silicone don't mix.
Thanks guys. I'll get the 85420.
Honda Bond. Best I have ever used, but it is pricey and if you don't use the whole tube it will harden within a few days.
When I worked at Honda engine plant (25+ yrs ) what they used when assembling engines was called pando. Maybe the same stuff
If a mistake was made scraping it back off was the only way ,even that was difficult
if if got on your clothes (Honda provided them to us ) it was there for the life of the clothes .
