NAACP 'GUN'-HO VS. ARMS BIZ

By KATI CORNELL SMITH

April 1, 2003 -- The NAACP has promised to deliver "shocking" proof that more than 80 gun-makers turn a blind eye to street violence, as a civil trial got under way yesterday.
"We will prove to you that the gun manufacturers and distributors engage in sales practices that they know will put guns into the hands of criminals and other persons the law says may not have guns," NAACP lawyer Elisa Barnes told a federal jury in opening statements.

The NAACP is trying to force distributors to restrict sales to dealers who have storefront outlets, prohibit sales to gun-show dealers and limit individual purchasers to one handgun a month.

Well, it's the NYpost, so you know it's just to titillate the liberals that something is being done.
After all the frivolous lawsuits that have been thrown out of court all over the country, the Naalcp wants to waste the money they collected from po' folks prosecuting this abomination... makes you wonder WHO supports this lunacy.

If you know it all; you must have been listening.WEAR EAR PROTECTION!

You know what is funniest about this whole thing?? The NAACP should recognize the fact that a majority of blacks are killed by other blacks. Since they don't, perhaps they should recognize the fact that the black market will NEVER be restricted by any legislation as to what firearms are accessible.

Kind of makes you wonder who's really pulling the strings of the NAACP, doesn't it???

    Death to Tyrants!!!

Those who would offer any interpretation that would relegate Amendment II to "relic" status of a bygone era are blatantly stating that the remainder of the Bill of Rights isn't worth a damn, either.
