Would like to retire but insurance is a big problem. COBRA would cost me $600.00 a month and $965.00 a month for me and my wife. Have had a triple bypass two and a half years ago so no insurance company wants to touch me. Found out a person has to be retired or on disability for two years before they can get medicare and they pay nothing on prescriptions. Anyone out there ever had a problem in this area? What was your solution to it?

the insurance companies want to
increase their premiums? I wonder if
this is some convoluted end run
to get our support for gov't
health care
I had to go to florida farm bureau for home owners,
I checked with them on auto, saved me $147 every 6 months.
statefarm lost all my business
Where I worked they sent me 2 other choices
for retirees with the work discount.
I called Travelers and Liberty mutual for
quotes to see if I could save a few bucks.
Neither of those companies will insure a log
cabin, only Metlife out of the three
at $1800/yr.
Me thinks I'll stay with Metlife.
I have been doing it for guns that are unique or over $2000 but not for 500 dollar normal production guns
