Has anyone seen, or better yet have links to pictures, of the new wood stocked XL7?
I've handled a couple of the synthetic full length models and for the price it seems like a great "foul weather gun" on those days when the custom Sako's want to stay inside.
I'd like to see the profile (same as the synthetic?), checkered or smooth, etc.
Any sightings on the new short action version??

Supposedly still only available in .270 Win. and .30-06 Springfield.
The skinny is that the wood stock will be between $100.00 and $150.00 additional to the synthetic price.
For those interested, there is a plywood version also...

My understanding is that a short action version is planned for .243, 7-08 and .308.
