The two that immediately come to mind for the US is the M1 carbine firing .30 carbine ammo, and the M1 rifle, firing .30-06
M1A1 Submachine Gun or other Thompsons must have been used as well, in .45 but I've never read much about them in Korea
BAR fired .30-06 as the primary variant but was also chambered for various other calibers

And a LOT of other weapons. Link for you:http://www.rt66.com/~korteng/smallarms/
Main US infantry issue weapon was the M1 Garand in .30'06.
Main Chinese rifle was the Russian M44 carbine in 7.62x54R, though many also used surplus 6.5 and 7.7 mm Japanese rifles captured by the Russians.
Its not really a rifle, but the Russian PPS41h submachine gun (aka the "burp gun") in 7.62x25 was also widely used by the Chinese infantry, as well as a Chinese-made clone.

Greasegun w/o the Mickey Mouse crank handle. The Army also had Stevens 520 or 620 riot guns in 12 gauge using full length brass OO buck shotshells.
Gen.Maxwell's bodyguards had a rack of mint Thompsons (forgot version)
but other than those, Thompsons were obsolete in the Army TO&E by then.
