looking to buy a 22 long rifle in the ar stlye, there are allot coming out that are for sale. which one to pick from colt ruger s&w etc, like it to be accurate as possible and built well. don't like allot of plastic just want a good one for the bucks that they want for them. did not put a price down can do that myself thanks for your time

If the whole point of having a .22 conversion is to get trigger time for the "real deal", then what could be better than having a real .22 unit on top of your AR?
Cost of a dedicated upper should be similar to a .22 AR15 lookalike with similar (or better) performance, and better feel.
Heard a lot of good things about the Sig 522. Lots of information and reviews on the net and U tube.
I have the Sig 522, and let me tell you, that is an awesome gun! I put a inexpensive optic from Midway on it, and it shoots very accurately, i'm very satified with it!
As an aside, I'd skip the "chamber insert" drop in type. Long bullet jump and a rate of twist incorrect for the rimfire doesn't bode well for good accuracy.
