Greetings everyone. My bud asked me to find out about a shotgun his son in law great grandfather had. It appears to be an old Japanese single shot 23 gauge. Butt. Plate says " Yasuda zeizo. It has a sliding safety in the stock. Top of barrel has Japanese writing . Engraving on receiver and barrel with what appears gold inlay. I'm awaiting pictures so I can post. Any help identifying this gun is a step in the right direction . Thank you. Edit.. reason I said 23 gauge a dealer at a gunshot mentioned 23 gauge. Heard about 1 years ago but never seen one.
