..Yeah, it's an old beater I got in a trade. The wood is
nice but not so the metal.
..It needs a good scrubbing but I can't find any detailed
instructions with pics to help me take it apart. Anyone
ever see anything online that would help?

You might be able to find disassembly instructions, under the S & W name. What ever it was, ( I can't remember because of my senioritas. [xx(]).
Personally I wouldn't even try to take it apart. If it works, your ahead of the game. So many had problems with them way back when, it was a freaken joke. Folks just laughed at the guys who bought them, because they were genuwine S & W's.
EDIT #1,
Be sure you get disassembly instructions for the correct S & W pump shotgun. Because after S & W dropped the Nobel. They sold a Japanese made pump that was a quality gun compared to the Nobel.

obscure turd. I wasn't aware of the S&W connection.
The only reason I took it was because the recoil pad
is a Jostam, made in my home town, Peotone IL. I'd
never heard of Jostam or that our little town made
pads sold worldwide. Come to find out, I knew some of
the extended family that ran the company. Very cool.
Thanks for the info on the pad,,,interesting. I drove by that town many times while living in Rochelle and coming back south,
We passed so close to each other and never knew. I'm
only 1 1/2 miles off of I-57.
..I think I've fired it maybe 10 times in 15 years and
it's so stiff it's pathetic. I can only imagine how long
the gummy oil has been in there collecting dust.
..Walt, you're forgetting our long ago correspondence.

ME forget something?? lol how many times. Yes, I remember our talk but not verbatim. Good luck on the Noble,[:I],, I had some bad things happen when I took a couple apart.
