Can someone give me an idea as to what choke is in the barrel of my Sears Ranger model 30. It is a 16 ga. There is a Y stamped on the bottom of the receiver. It is sized at .725. I not sure, but I beleave it might be a Full choke.

Bear in mind, any chart is just a guide. Just about every manufacturer has their own specs. Also, older guns made when fiber wads were the norm will have slightly more restriction for any given choke.
The only way I could see it having a .725 barrel I.D., Is if somebody swapped out the barrel group, from 16 gauge to 12 gauge.
The Stevens 520 was designed by John Browning. In the very early years, of the 20 Century. As a take down pump. Because it was a take down, the barrel group is easily removable.
I've never heard, of anybody swapping out 12 ad 16 gauge barrels on a 520. But anything is possible.
