What would a 1988 unfired sweet 16 be worth ?
No mark of any kind. No box. Still has factory
Grease in the gun. I see guns like this that has
been fired listing for $1500 or so.

    Hello.
I have been holding on to my
brothers A5 sweet 16 and now
    he wants to sell it.
    DOM is 1960.
Cosmetically it is in good condition,
Except for the fact he had a smithy
drill and tap the receiver for
    a scope (side mount).
So question is : If we consider this
    shotgun in good condition how
much money has he lost from the alterations?
    Thanks-Ron

1988 should be made in Japan.
If your looking at $1,500 Sweet 16s, your looking at Belgium made.

I see just the barrel going for more than $ 500
I would think it would bring more than that.

Why do you ask, if you don't like the answers?

Take the advice, and use the search function to look up the auctions that have ended with bids, and actually sold. That will tell you what the value will be, somewhat. If you want to know the exact value, list it on the auction side for 10 days, and start it at a penny, with no reserve...if you have the nads to do that, it will tell you exactly what your Jap-scrap is worth.
