We have "glitterati" to describe the truly fabulous among us, "technorati" to define those that are the most technologically aware, so I got to thinking: what can we use to describe the truly dense among us? Those of the Left whose stupidity is so all-consuming and impenetrable that more traditional words fail to capture their essence. Then it hit me: "ignorati." What do y'all think? Feel free to co-opt it and amaze your friends with your hipness and uptodateness on the latest slang.

We also kept a list of ones that would have to be referred to a linguist.

My dad's from a rural area back east. They say pronounce it "ignernt" for ignorant.

Assattle rifle. n. 1) A military shoulder weapon having the attributes of both an assault rifle and a battle rifle, but failing as either; see Beretta BM59. 2) An arbitrary homogenization of functionally disparate rifle parts to form a mythical whole, e.g., a rifle firing a full-power cartridge, but with a folding stock and short barrel used in a battle by assault troops.
Cry as much as you like, Beretta, the oldest firearms manufacturer still doing business today, desribed the BM59 military rifles they were selling to Italy and many other countries as "assault rifles" long before 1978.
