A statement in this thread:

got me thinking about this..
If you legally owned, say, a Serbu Super Shorty 12 gauge or a small enough short barrelled rifle, as long as you carried your paperwork, could you legally conceal carry an AOW or SBR?
I suppose it depends on the carry laws of your state...?

Now, that said, we are talking about state laws here, not the constitutional RTBA which would negate anything noted above.
Thats not a super shorty .40 is it??
I was thinking about that as well when I read it...
I don't know/believe that what your are suggesting would fly.

I meant the little 12 gauge shotgun..
The thing that got me wondering about it was on the Serbu website, in the description of the weapon it states:
"If you like the idea of concealed carry with a 12-gauge, or like a lot of "bang" in a small package, or just want the most compact breaching weapon available."
Thinking about it, this statement could be directed at LE types. Or not. I dunno. I think here in FL, you'd probably catch an uncomfortable ride to an uncomfortable place if you were discovered toting this.
A little shotgun like that is a big liability to bi-standers...
