If you have a job that is the standard w-2 type employment plus you have a job that produces a 1099 MISC at the end of the year are you still required to file quarterly tax reports on the 1099 estimated wages and pay the SSI and fed with holding each quarter?

Yes- But I take the hit at the end of the year. Your doing good enough to pay federal tax? haven't seen that in years. 99% is SSI and state tax.

I have a job, and self-employment income. I don't file quarterly estimated payments and I don't have to. As long as enough is held out of my pay from my regular job, that is good enough.

When Dawnie goes to work this year, all her income will be either cash or reported on 1099-MISC. I have adjusted my withholdings at work to cover her estimated earnings.
