Introducing new GB Users...the wife and daughter

Member Posts: 168,427 ✭
Please welcome my daughter Cassidy (as you all know her). She prefers to be called by her first name now though (Erika)...you guys can take your pic. She's 11 and her user name will be Full~Auto~Girl.
My wife, Belinda is also joining GB. Her user name will be ECC's Wommat. There's a long story behind that term of endearment...one of us will tell you about it sooner or later.
They've known most of you folks for a very long time. Uncle BDJ gave Cassidy her first gun when she was 4 (and to give you an idea of how generous this man is, he also gave her another gun and has offered her a 3rd!)...She also won her first long gun on here as well...one of the first kids Christmas giveaways.
Whatever you do (Jacob and whoever else needs reminding)...Remember, Cassidy is 11...and her Daddy is one of those crazy vets that shouldn't own guns...!!!

We are indeed honored that you would invite your womanfolk to set down to the fire with us hellions out here !!!
Ladies, set down over there on that stump, grab a cup of coffee, throw a few branches on the fire, and join the conversation.
Welcome Full~Auto~Girl and ECC's Wommat (to be explained)! [:)]
If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
That being said i welcome you both, may your stint be both peaceful, and rewarding. God Bless you for your Pro American Values, and support of our Constitution
I reckon we're gonna hafta clean up a little
in here now!

Not sure I would want to expose my 11 year old daughter to some of the discussions on this forum, but I suppose one could point to them as an example of how NOT to behave.

She's been told what posts to avoid (particularly NSFW posts). This forum is supposed to be PG-13...let's keep it that way.

I may like girls, but nothing under 15.

so what you're saying is that you've knowingly allowed your daughter access to an environment that you full well know is inappropriate for her age(i.e. putting a 11 year old in a pg-13(yeah right) environment).
i personally dont plan to listen to any of your bitching when she see something inappropriate....
Well, I guess they'll have to go to another forum! [;)]
So does this mean that I shouldn't be typing in my underwear anymore?
Welcome to GB! ECC you got me thinking. What would be the benefit of registering my 10 year old son? Would he benefit this Summer from the extra reading, maybe even the occasional reply? I had not thought of this before, but always interested in any educational benefits. Any thoughts from anyone?
If I have learned anything more than guns from this site, since I have been lurking since dad has been registered (2001, Had been lurking since 2000) it is bettering my People Skills that normally you would not learn in real life... Kinda showed me to think what people would reply to what I said before I say it, as you dont know WHO is behind the screen. I have been registered since I was like 13 or 14.. Been watching since I was 9 or 10 I guess... Finally hit the age when MySpace came along and I joined up.. Dad HATED it, told me to come here... I guess now that I look at it, it was so he could supervise what I was doing and whom I was talking with easier.. I was immediately hooked.
From experience, it is great..
ALSO, When people criticize how you type, it helps you learn that a lot better... Which, Computing is the new notes.. everything is run via computers some how.. Better off learning ahead of time. I flew through those computer courses like they were ice cream on a hot day.
Welcome fully aboard this leaky, rickety, barely functioning board full of leaky, rickety, barely functioning, whiny, olde men. [}:)] [:o)]
They really need some kind hearted, caring women to take care of them and keep 'em straight.[;)]

How are you doing this evening?
How are you doing this evening?
I R OK.
A little upset w/myself. Left some tools I needed to do tile work at my mothers house and she's in bed. I still have tile to replace at the registers at work.
BTW -- I haven't forgoten you points. I have anotherr box coming out to you soon. I keep forgeting to get it to the P.O..
Your dad/husband is one of the small number of stand-up, solid individualists on the forums who makes this place worthwhile and who displays that which made America great.
Likely, he'll be one of those few who ultimately steps up and makes it so again.[;)]
