Sorry guys no pics I am feeling pretty good pics would be blurry.
Shot a 5 gal. plastic bucket.. the kind you get hydralic tractor fluid in. Shot it a 20'. Gun is a Winchester 12 gauge x police gun with a riot 18" barrel. Pattern was almost the size of a basketball. Pellets entered one side but didn't exit second side. Not impressed.
Second shot was at a 20# empty gas cylinder at 25Yd. Pellets only took off the paint. No dents.
Third shot was at the plastic bucket at 25yd. ( I turned it sideways so I could see a clear pattern from the first shot ) Some pellets stuck to the bucket , others only made a spot on it. Not impressed.
Conclusion: I thought they shot harder than that. I need another dakari to drink.

Leave the bird shot to the birds![:D]
You're doing this all wrong! You need a coyote to pattern against. [}:)][:D][;)]

#4 buck works great on coyotes too![;)]
Hey Don,
Wanna tell us the whole story?[;)][:D]
happy new year!

You need bucket shot.

Inquiring minds want to know?
I say #4 buckshot for home defense....that is if you choose a shotgun.

Ever been shot with either?
I use 00 buck at the minimum. For anyone worried about penetration of walls, if it wont go through a wall it wont drop a two legged predator DRT. Might kill him, but not fast enough for my comfort.
DEVASTATING within 30 yds. (18" "squoze" bbl.)
Really Ouchy past 75. (spreads to almost 27' side-to-side) ((not many pellets, but you'll hit somethin'!))
