Edit: No worries. Soon the imported Crocodiles will have eaten ALL of those Gators! (and the Garter snakes too!)
Fifteen-Footer!! Probably Fifty Years Old!
I'm thinkin' not too many folks go into the bushes or along the water hazards looking for errant golf balls,,,,,,,,,,[:D][:o)]
You would be amazed, there is always someone snorkeling in these ponds looking for golf balls. Once or twice a year someone pays the BIG price for their efforts. I mean, really, how much can a damn golf ball be worth to risk your life and limbs?

The crocodiles will have a much more limited range than the gators.
Biggest recorded was just under 15 feet long.
Biggest Croc just over 20.
When you are in a small boat on an African river trust me you would swear some of those Crocodiles were closer to 30 feet

I'm no expert but that thing looks to be to high off the ground to me.
But it probably died of old age. Haven't seen it in years. Never bothered anyone living on the canal.
The one in the video has been around for a while. He makes an appearance at least once a year on
someones video.
Until July they are very active, it is mating season.
The American Crocodile is alive and well in Sotuhwest Florida.
They have tagged some in Sarasota.
