My wife has one of those apple slicer thingymbobs though. I have never seen her use it.[:D]
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Talking about apples. You'd figure that getting good apples here in the Seattle area would be easy to do, but not so, it's kind of like getting a good tomato, or onion when Vidalia's or Walla Walla's are not available.
or an Idaho potato in Idaho.

Too thick to dehydrate, what the hell's wrong with that guy
First time I've someone do EVERYTHING wrong. Video was "crap" quality, hand held, Peeled the apple, used an apple cutter and salted it, what a waste of his time.
Just ate an apple, got one out of the refrigerator, rinsed it off, took off the stem and ate the whole thing, skin, core, seeds. No muss, no fuss.
Peaches are different, licking the fuzz off is the best part.[:D]
The salt is a little different, but I put salt on grapefruit so go with what you like... We have a similar cutter and used it for school lunches the last 15 years. I saw a similar device recently for watermelon.
salting an apple is like salting a watermelon, it makes it sweeter tasting
My favorite way to eat an apple is with peanut butter[:p]
Chef of the future "It will even core a apple"[:D]
