it may just be me but if you take pics of one you want to sell would you just lay it the cement walkway and put it in different positions to take them?

I have reservations when I see what I believe to be carelessness on the handling of what is described as a rare firearm.

have I become *? I don't think so but have some respect man.

no dig on the seller - probably just a lapse in judgement.

I don't know. It isn't rare and he makes no assertion that it is.
It is compiled from parts as a tool.

Its not a precision target or sniper rifle. Watch these videos until you no longer care about a crude but effective combat rifles condition. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j18op9M6QgM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfUOfDcLX0I

There are 30 plus pictures and not a single one of them suggests rough handling. Are we looking at the same auction????
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

I don't buy an AK74 for the deep blued metal finish and the finely grained wood furniture.[:)]

I get that it is not a cheap rifle but I think it will be ok. A few more scratches might not be that undesirable in some AK owners eyes.[:)]

look at the tip of the buttstock pictures, looks like fresh gouges that coincide with the ones of the gun on concrete

I just love the smell of a Rust-Oleum paint job on a rifle.

I looked at them all. There is no way to know whether the damage was from placing it on the concrete for the photo shoot.

It's an AK. Aren't they made from old dumpsters and recycled pallets anyway?[:D]

Yep, I seen a guy in deer woods with one of those few years ago.

I had heard about 20 continuous shots previously about 1/4 mile away and I thought what the ??? a gatling gun maybe.
I was standing over my deer gutting it when I seen the guy sneaking thru the woods carrying one of those with the big banana clip and I grabbed my nice Remington 700 with bloody hands, thought maybe it might be a terrorist, he came over slowly when he see me holding my gun with bloody hands and said did you see a wounded deer come thru here? I said yes, this one that I heart shot, see it's blood trail. He smiled and said I shot into a herd back their and cannot find anything. I said you should reload that 30 round clip because I heard maybe 20 shots and you might be low on ammo in your gun. He just smiled and went on his way. Sure was a ugly gun.

Life is too short to hunt with a ugly gun.

Way over priced IMO. An arsenal built 74 with the original Bulgarian barrels are top notch for less money. The Raks are the old Afghan era parts kits. I don't see any for sale anywhere so from a collector standpoint I could be wrong.

Rest easy the buyer is giving it plenty of TLC, it might even become a safe queen, living on carpet.
