YUK DOUBLE YUCK.....had to eat some of those growing up...gray looking s--t looked like pus......
Probably "store bought" pot pies ..... they truly do suck but a home made pot pie is the other end of the scale.

What is this "canned" stuff you refer to?
Did you can it yourself?
Oh, this will not do.
Mine starts off with,
Head on out back and grab the extra rooster, or old laying hen, and butcher her.
And I guarantee nothing in the rest will come out of a can[;)]
yours sounds like Grandma made with real fresh chickens and fresh vegetables from the garden [^]
my wife does buy from grocery store

This time of year, I use frozen veggies, some from garden last year, some from store.
And I make a homemade biscuit crust. Roll the dough out thin, put it in the pan, and bake at 400 for about 9-10 minutes.
Then add all yutes good stuff and crust on top, bake and there you go!
Damn, now I am hungry again.
+1,,ya know they do it purposely,,,,[;)][;)][:(!][:(!]
Homemade surely beats these but in a pinch you can't overlook a Marie Callanders Chicken pot pie, all white meat and microwave crisp crust.
I too think that this is probably the best of the store bought pies.
