Have a kurz mauser listed on the auction side, and a guy in Germany has some interest in it. He asked about having it exported to him from the US. Since I've never looked into it, is it tough to find someone who can do it, and if so, would it be so cost prohibitive to do so along with all of the extra shipping? Thanks.

Expensive? Your charges start at $450.

My feeling is that it is not worth the time and trouble for firearms valued at below $5000.
Serious collectors in Europe often have a "US representative"; he is an FFL, who also has an export license (or works with an exporter). All you do is ship the gun to the US representative (he'll send you a copy of his FFL), & you ship to him; the hard work & payment will not be your problem.

sell here in the states unless they are willing to do all the paper work arrange the shipping and pay 3x its value
buyer should pay all that fees[:0]
Yep. I used Simpson once with no problems whatsoever.

That being said, people with connections & money can buy anything they want, legally, similar to the good ole' days in the U.S. buying a full auto, only needed paperwork and $200 tax stamp,,,, but NOTHING was imported, they were already in the U.S.
