The weather warmed up to about 55 degrees today, so I decided to take a short 8 mile hike around a local lake.
It was still completely froze over, which surprised me....the lake and the woods around it were very pretty with the snow and ice.....it's good to be alive [:)]

Where is this?
Lake Vesuvius, OH
Rack, I thought you lived in Lexington
No. Close to Ashland
Shawnee land. If you were there in 1788 you would want Simon Kenton at your side.
Allen, have you ever read "The Frontiersman"?
If they caught you, rack ops, you would have to run the gauntlet.
The Shawnee might just decide to burn you at the stake. Only a wimp would cry out, a real man would die with courage, and tell the Shawnee that they were like women.

Fortunately, I always carry a smallpox-infected blanket for just such an emergency.
I always see tracks, but very few rabbits.
