a little smoke, zero fire
A bunch of homes burned (reported now at least 20), along with 1800+ acres 2000 acres in less than 7.5 hours, and possibly one person dead.
Nope, no fire.
a little smoke, zero fire
PRAY TELL WHAT IS THIS?
this fire is very dangerous because it is not in a wildernes area. it is in the interface between the developed valley floor and the wilderness. because a lot of homes are being built in this area, there is a lot of grass patches and weedy areas that explode the quickness of the fire....the river levels have dropped severely the last 2 weeks and quick fill-ups of the helicopter drop buckets won't be as fast. the jet tankers do have an airport to use for retardant drops that is within a couple minutes flight time

And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
geesh guys, i know there is a bad fire, when i clicked on the link there was zero fire, no more smoke than a bbq
Perhaps you would be better served if you had watched the whole video, instead of the first 5 seconds. Wild fires are truly beasts that consume everything in their path.

Used to live in Stevensville, MT, just north of Hamilton. Quite a bit north of the fire. Country looks a lot dryer than I ever remember it being.
