I'm now officially a Professional Musician.
A local Realty company will be using some of my original guitar music in their virtual tours.
I just cashed my first "royalty" check for $100.
I don't care about the exposure. I'm plenty enough exposed here in this backwater town. I don't really care about the money, though it will keep me in guitar strings long enough to write more.
What I'm stoked about is that someone not only liked my music, but thought it good enough to represent their company.

congrats, but is it to get people in, or critters out???????????
Great sales tactic... Too bad it's illegal
Congratulations
By the way, congratulations!
If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
You should record one or two and youtube 'em so we can listen in!
THIS!
ASCAP writer and publisher, $70 lifetime, four packs strings, there's the $100. Schedule C Self Employment, deduct the hundred and another six [;)]
It's crude and got some clinkers, but you should get an idea of the sound.
The guitar is a Martin Mahogany D-15

Congratulations Andy!
When people are willing to pay you money for what you do that's confirmation that you're pretty good at what you do.
Congratulations Andy!
Well, it's an indication that at least one person likes it enough to cut a check[8D]

Good job, colonel! That Martin is sweet!
It's a beautiful machine. It sounds like a piano at first, doesn't it?
I have a Martin DCK2AE (basically a linoleum guitar) that plays and sounds better than it should. And next week, I'm going to Ft Collins to pick up another Martin. I can't remember the model number, but it's a dreadnought with cutaway and Fishman electronics controls in the upper front bout. Flame Maple sides and back, if I remember right.
Here's a link to an identical axe. The neck is wider than I'm used to, making finger-picking in open keys an absolute delight. I call her "Birdie"
