Re: My solution to the campus Gaza protests!!
@NotDracon you can have your opinions on things, but don't be combative (same to all members) however a statement like "Hey, it's me. The dissonant chord. Well, here goes the behavior that's expected of me:" is not gonna fly here for too long. You can disagree with others without being a troll. I don't agree with some of the suggestion put forth in this thread and do agree with some of them. Being a "biker" not a "1%" kind of made me mad suggesting all bikers would act a certain way as an example, but I choose to ignore it. This is GB's house and not FB or Twitter and our members should understand they are guests here and act accordingly. Most do, those that don't won't be around for long or many that were around for a long time decided that they could do what they want and found out they couldn't. Everyone try to be respectful of others even if you don't agree or like their thoughts. Else the staff will decide you no longer are welcome.
Re: Fee being added at check out
Should have read the posting guide lines son. This isn't where you come to get your diaper changed.
We had our ATF inspection....everything went GREAT!
We've only had them come one other time. This time was like the other, they thought they were coming in to check a much smaller operation than they found. We have a VERY good system we have worked out over time. It helps us keep up with everything here very well and I can put my hands on anything in question with very little effort. So, they were impressed with how easy it was for them to do our check.
When they came, seeing the inventory they thought they were going to have to call in more people to help them….but they knocked it out in two "short" days…..out of here before 3pm each day. The 4473s are all in order, all guns are accounted for.
Not one complaint or problem….a couple minor boxes not checked, but they said they weren't going to write that up.
I'm very proud of my guys for how well they do their jobs.
Re: OOOooooooo Weeee!!! Check out this Colt King Cobra Target...NICE Engraving!!!
Beautiful yes, but once you get it drilled and accessory rails on it, it gonna cover the engraving ya know
Re: Guy threatening bad feedback because the gun was drilled to mount the scope mount it has on it
I wonder if the buyer is one of the holes.

Re: Great Article on Ruby Ridge
"Even some of the FBI's Sniper's classmates claim he was just trying to do the right thing."
If he wanted to do the "right thing", he should have turned that rifle on his co-conspirators…….
Re: Holster Question
Having carried a 1911 on duty, uniformed and plain clothes, for many years, the only way I would carry a 1911 is condition 1, loaded with the hammer cocked, and safety on. Any way of carrying a 1911 without a round in the chamber takes far too long to get it into action and ties up both of your hands which is never a good idea. For a condition 1 carry, it is important to use a holster with a thumb strap. I've seen several accidental discharges when a 1911 was carried condition 1 depending only on the safety which is easily disengaged when contacting clothing, a seat belt, etc. especially if there is a safety lever on both sides of the frame. The strap secures the gun in place, and provides protection from an accidental discharge. And the strap does not slow down your draw. The thumb flicks the strap up while your fingers wrap around the grip.
Re: Bacon wrapped shrimp tacos
Add some possum nuggets and camel's milk cheese and you have most of the ethnicities covered.
