Why is it so hard for people to figure out how to right click on an address and copy it.....
Me thinks the good Captn is going to take a very dim view of this seller. That is a big no-no.
i finely figured it out[:0][:D]
here it is
Buh bye, *. You'll have to sell all your guns at the shop now.[:o)]
THIS COLT JUST SOLD IN THE SHOP FOR 1449.00 SORRY TO THE BIDDERS, THERE WILL NOT BE A COLT SOLD FOR THIS WINNING BID.
Now someone will demand a colt for the $605 winning bid, atm
And the tacticool stuff just does not look good on that weapon
That "ATTN CAPT" won't get it.
Which of you sent the auction number to Support?
Me [:)]

It is a serious violation, and it is good that Support is now wise to it. This feller may regret his choice.
Just out of curiosity, other than banning, are there other measures that could be taken against the guy?

uh, yes.
he entered into a contract when he listed it.

Sometimes they just don't know you can't do this. They may have seen it done before and they think it is fine. I think a "warning" will be fine if this hasn't happened before with this seller. There is no need in BANISHING everyone that breaks the rules....but if it becomes a habit....then BYE!!!
,,,,kinda leaves the bidder(s) with a bad taste in their mouth, Kasey. Plus, the auction side doesn't need even a 'smidgen' of this kind of reputation,,,,
I don't have a vote on the rules here, but it looks like a big sin to me. Especially the smartass comment at the end.
From his response he doesn't know or understand the rules. I do think commission paid on the amount he sold it for is reasonable.
What about the top bidder?
A newbie... who got the short end of the stick.
Kinda sucks for a first time experience.

The smartass comment at the end will end up hanging the seller, IMO. He admitted that it was the winning bid.
You know, just to teach him a lesson[}:)]
Would it be ok to run his bid up to like 4000 dollars so he feels like he missed out on thatt much money plus he is responsible for that much in fees.

wish you wouldn't.
I'm hoping he has two.
Its me on top.[;)]

Not anymore, if I can get that Colt for $775 I'll be more than satisfied[;)]

vigilante bidders will get terminated faster than sellers that don't complete transactions...
Just saying.
[:D][:D][:D]
Clearly, CaptFun and I were posting at the same time.
I'm unsure of what a 'vigilante' bidder is.
But shootuadeal is gonna run me past what I'm willing to pay to fuss with the seller.
Good luck!

so no more $1,000,000 .45 acp auctions? [:D]
Bigout. Think I will snipe you.
not me...[:D][:D][:D]
still a bargain.
if he has two.
i guess we can always send Don if he can't complete the deal.
[:D][:D][:D]
If we just terminate the listing, then he gets no negative reinforcement and will just keep doing the same bad behaviour over and over.
Here is my question? Plenty of these sales are gun shops, and they say in the listing that the gun is for sale in their shop, and can be sold at anytime. Is this make it OK? Just wondering?
