For some reason, German women find black men fascinating & sexy; it's not uncommon for those women who travel internationally to end up dating or married to a black man. I'm guessing that it's due to stories in the German tabloids & magazines.

Statistically, blacks are almost nonexistent in Germany. You would be hard pressed to find a German who has even seen a black in person. Germans don't see the welfare state & inner city crime that urban Americans have gotten used to, & they don't hear the wailing about who is being held down because of slavery that ended 150 years ago.

He could have easily have a plastic surgery to fix his look with all his $$$ but he did not, for that he earns my respect.

I don't think money had anything to do with it. She has a boatload of her own money and I would say it is a toss up as to who has more, If you ever saw any of her live interviews you would see that she is witty, charming, and has a great sense of humor. She seems to be a real good mother and if she were ever to walk into the same room as any of us you would know what a world class woman she is.
It almost universally backfired, you can count the number of black guys who stuck with it and raised their children on one hand. There are exceptions. I know a few "men" who happen to be black, the other sort are much more prevalent.
I can't really think of one mixed race child here in Germany who is remotely well adjusted,I know more than few and have watched them grow up. There are exceptions.
Sometimes (but rarely) it works out, depends on the character of the parents. In my experience the majority (most, not all) of Black dudes who hooked up with German chicks and had children were character deficient.
I always wondered if global warming and some sort of subliminal message made many German chicks pick a Black man, a little pigment may come in handy in the next couple of generations. More likely to be as simple as bigger is better.[:D]
I recall standing on a train station in Berlin a few years ago noting there was a black in every train car.
Somehow, I think it was a purposeful statement saying "Look, I'm here".
I'm from a generation when interacial marriage was not accepted and in some states illegal. This thinking was not of a few but of the vast majority. One married within their ethnic background or at least within their religion. Compatibility was the thinking. The modern term Racism is a stupid, PC contrived word having evil connotations.
It's rare to see an old married interacial couple. Vast cultural differences seem to win out breaking up these relationships.
However, it warms me to see an old couple where the wife is Japanese.
Were it not for the objections of people at home, most every serviceman I knew would have brought home a Japanese wife.
He was banned after caught cheating at the Singapore Grand Prix.
The Italian love child was before Seal.

While I have nothing against mixed relationships the old saying opposites attract is rarely true.
In marriage the thing opposites attract most is divorce.
However, in the world of mega money and fame relationships should be leased with annual renewals because it is difficult for them to stay a monogamist with the constant temptation thrown in their faces.

skicat - how right you are! She is an intelligent, witty, charming and talented person. And he, he's an interesting, very adaptable and talented man with an extremely dramatic life history.
When the guys see as one of their greatest assets is merely the "color" of their skin ... it is no wonder that they feel the need to trash talk about a woman that has never wronged them!
After all women that look deeper than the shade of a man's skin, would not give losers the time of day.
So even with the privileges of being born here in the US of A, and having the artificial value of having been born a "pale-skin" or lily white... still throwing chit at others!
Course "color" means everything to most guys that have done nothing much positive to be proud of themselves about.
That is really insecurity ... being proudest of something they had nothing to do with: physical characteristics at birth ... mighty thin pride ... and only skin deep!
What a shame the "pride" or self esteem is not based on positive accomplishments.

If you look at it strictly objectively, one definition of a perversion is a behavior done that most people do not. Don't have an opinion just because it's popular or PC. There's a difference between tolerating and respecting diversity and embracing/wallowing in it. Wish I had a dollar for every mixed race kid I'm supporting.

Plus 1. I know a few really hot girls dating or married to 'ugly' or fat guys who are really nice. Usually the hot girl in question got burnt too many times by shallow d-bags and decided to go for a nice guy and not worry about looks.
FWIW, while I was in Germany I DID see some blacks. Afro-deutsch. But they are a lot smaller segment of the population than they are here.
Seems to me the guys making the racial comments could not get a date with Hedi Klum's maid much less her. But at least they had a chance to show their true Colors !!!!

I was raised in a pretty racist envoronment. I'm not talking clan, but there were'nt many blacks in the rural area I lived in. The "N" word was used almost exclusively in describing blacks, with no particular animosity, that's just how they were referred to.
I guess I was luck in that I met several really good men, who happened to be black, and it caused me to understand that the color of a mans skin has nothing to do with the integrity of his soul.
My oldest son is getting married in March, to a black girl. A really good person, who loves him very much. Her father was a police officer, who was killed in the line of duty. She has a tattoo with his badge number on it. Her family is higher class than mine. Her mother claims I am turning her into a redneck! (I taught her to shoot). Anyway, they are happy, and it makes no difference to me what color she is. She is good people, and she came from good people.
A * is a *, and they come in all colors. So do good people.
