Favorite TV Shows Past and Present

My favorite TV show from the past is Little House On The Prairie. Life was so much simpler back then. My favorite present show is CSI. It's very interesting to see all the advances that have been made in investigations in the past few years.

The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, Maverick, 77 Sunset Strip, The Rifleman, Bonanza, The Rockford Files, The Outer Limits, Deep Space 9, Combat.

Didn't you love it in Combat when the New Guy got hit, Doc and Sarge looked down at him, and then Doc slowly shook his head? You knew the poor b*st*rd was going to buy the farm even if he lingered through a couple of commercials.

The funnest show of all time has to be "All in the Family". Archie always pushed the limit and usually never had a clue.

I like "The Pretender" I like how Jerred always seems to be one step ahead of the others and still manages to help others with a touch of class.

Never saw a TV until I was 9 years old. But in the 60's my favorite was The Red Skelton Show. Just love a good comedian.

    I always enjoyed "Vegas".

That red '57 T-Bird was great.
As a kid, "The Andy Griffith Show" was tops, and "The Porter Waggoner Show" brought to you by Black Draught (some kind of laxative, I think) was great. Can still see Porter with his hair sticking straight up in a flat top!

I agree with almost all the classics already posted. One more vote for Mary Ann. Did you know that there were no royalties paid to any of the Gilligans Island stars, just salaries. And it has ran longer without a break than any show in history. At least that is what they said when they had a special about it.How about "I
Dream of Jeannie" or "Bewitched" the shows were silly sometimes but I NEVER got tired of looking at those two. Barbara Eden STILL looks good to me.Now days, PSI factor, Witch Blade, Charmed, again some more eye candy.

If I knew then, what I know now.

M*A*S*H, Maverick, Simon & Simon, Magnum PI, Alias Smith & Jones, Star Trek (all versions, although Voyager with Mulgrew was by far the least entertaining). Don't watch much TV - never saw a single episode of Gunsmoke, Friends, or Seifeld . . . among others.

Nunn- I am with you on "everybody Loves Raymond".
I have not seen too many episodes of it, but what I have seen has been funny and clever.
One episode had Peter Boyle delivering a monologue to Raymond. It was taken just about word for word from one of his lines as "the Wizard" in the movie "TAXI DRIVER". Very clever.
