Ahh,yes..the Rembrandt Country Estate..1200 acres of rolling countryside....Many is the timeI dreamed of this invitationNo longer to wait,it will be my destination.I shall be put upin a second floor suiteA fine smoking jacket, and slippers for my feet. The aroma of bisquits in the morning, with ,gravy and game,Then out for some shooting, and more of the same.Noon time arrivestime for a light lunch,The lady of the house calls usfor dainty sandwiches and fruit punch. ~SLB~P.S. Rembrandt,my friend:It would be a great pleasure to make your aquaintance one day!
I have a hard time imagining that a rifled choke tube would be long enough to start a sabot spinning properly. If a rifled barrel is a requirement for sabots, I'd be disinclined to expect much performance from a rifled choke tube.

Me's been thinking the same thing. It seems odd that the rifled choke would give you much of a spin, but I am no expert.Nice poem Bee.

I looked down the barrel of a 12-ga. break-action single-barrel shotgun once and saw what appeared to be a slow and gradual in-sloping effect that started at the very start of the barrel and continued to the end, at which point it couldnt have been much wider than a .410 size.It was almost funnel like, and very odd, but it was definately choked the whole way through, not just at the end.I've seen both kinds, and this was a horse of a different color, to be sure.
