tr,I'd agree with youwith the exception that the general public does not care,as I personaly do not think that any actually believe it will happen to them.You know,it only happens to outspoken radicals,like hmmmm Delta 514 for example?And we would not care to look into that very far would we?Naaaa,it musta been his fault,right?I mean after all I don't do anything wqrong so why should I worry?Change things?Not possible,nope ,not a chance until someone actually cares enough to stick their neck out a bit for what they believe.....but that would be taking a chance on becoming a target,,and we all have to darn much to lose...they got us,see?We know what you r saying,but would'nt want to admit it,The gov't would'nt do that...If we thought they would,then we would HAVE to do something or live with it....Scary huh?Sorry all,got a little....um...on a rant I guess......[:(]L.H.
dano: I'm not sure what waste of time and energy you are referring to, but in my mind the govt. passing laws banning folding stocks and 10+ mags are a waste of time and energy. It wastes the time and energy of the govt. if it cares to enforce these laws which do little or no good to protect the public. Who has ever been harmed simply because a gun had a folding stock? Who has ever been harmed simply because a gun held 11 rounds instead of 10.
And time and energy is wasted by the honest gun owners who want to remain legal but find that it is getting more and more complicated to the point to whereas you almost have to study the situation as if you were taking a college course on "gun ownership".
When guns were invented everything changed. For the first time in the history of the world a frail woman had a chance to sucessfully defend herself and home. My dream is that one of the anti-gun nuts will need a gun for defense and be unable to have one because of their own actions.
