Wish List Survey

What is the #1 gun on your wish list that you can't afford right now, or are saving up for? I want a wilson cqb .45 so bad I can taste it, that's what all those pennies in the pickle jar are going to be for.

Not really an issue of "can't afford it" or "saving up for it", but the next on my - REALLY-WANT-ONE, GUESS-I'LL-BUY-ONE - list is an M1A. I've been lusting after these rifles for many years and can see no good reason to not get one.

The best shooting I ever did was in the Army with an M-14. I've been impressed with them ever since.

If it throws a lead projectile at high velocity down a rifled barrel, it's probably on my wish list.

*Sigh*...so many guns, so little time.

Really though, the next two on my wish list are a Glock 32 .357 Sig and a Bushmaster AR-15. Hopefully, it won't be too long.

Its a toss up between a Bushmaster in .223 or a Barrett .50 cal. I cant decide which, although I need to buy a new house worse than either, so I dont see either one coming my way soon.

Number 1 on my gun "wish list" would be to find a used Annie Oakley Winchester Commemorative Model 9422. I sure wish I could afford a new one, but they seem to be rare and pretty expensive ... and I want to shoot it! Actually, used ones seem to be pretty rare, too.

I want an M1A, just the mil-spec one. I'd give one of my kidney's for one. Really, if you know someone who needs a kidney, tell him I'll trade one of mine for this gun. LOL

I just wish I had a dollar for every gun I wanted, then I'd be a rich man.

    Oh, yea almost forgot these:

    M1 Garand
    M1 Garand Tankers Carbine
    M1 Garand National Match
    M1C Garand
    M1D Garand
    Thompson M1 .45acp
    M1 Carbine
    M2 Carbine
    M3 Carbine
    AR15 A1
    CETME
    ......

You know now that I think about it, I don't think that the gunbroker webserver has enough hardrive space to list all the guns I want...

I'm hopeless. I go to gun shows and look for whatever's on my want list at the right price. I read the local classifieds paper every week hoping someone will decide to sell that one interesting tactical gun they bought 20 years ago but never used, and are willing to take what they paid for it.

In other words, I'm up for the unexpected surprises and will move heaven and earth to get something that pops up at a truly reasonable price.

Outside of that sort of serendipity, I have been looking hard at .308 semi-autos lately. I don't have a modern battle rifle bigger than my AK-47S, and if one were to require something heavier, it would be nice to have a real defensive rifle on the shelf. If I had unlimited funds I'd also get the LAR Grizzly .50 bmg for my small collection while we can (just in case some future Democrat administration sends armored vehicles to pick up our guns) but since I don't have a couple extra thou, and hopefully they'll never pull that off anyhow, I think the reasonable plan is to keep looking at .308s. The next gun show here is May 18 so I'm already priming my pump for that one. I need to get there early on Saturday and cruise for the one-of-a-kind values before its all picked over. That is, if I have any money by then. Depends on business to a degree.

Know anyone who needs some web-related project work that could be handled via e-mail, let me know.

I'm with simonbs and William81, I want either a Kimber Compact CDP II or a SA Compact 45. They're both sharp looking guns in my favorite caliber! Patience I do not have, at the rate I'm saving now it could really be a while..

Not really a matter of saving up for it, it's more a matter of finding one at the "right price". I would not mind putting a NIB mint Dan Wesson Model 15-2 pistol pack in the safe.

If I knew then, what I know now.

Would a live 16mm Vega round count, since I don't collect guns??

Or a US .30-06 Tear Gas experimental?

I'll be very glad to give any US military small arms ammo a good home should any of you guys wish to put some up for adoption.
