well, now, you aren't playing nice[:)]
HA! You changed the rules!
Ok... Since there is no way I would find a better place to be than my own house... and assuming my property doesn't get taken over as a command post and artillery base/helli field or something... It would be a bad call for me to move to my buddies house since he has no room, no extra food and water, and no extra anything... Sooo assuming my buddy is not pigheaded enough to stay in his house and moves to mine, I hope he would bring with him...
His Ruger GP100 6" because it would go very nicely with my Marlin .357 mag levergun, and his Ruger P89 which would go well with my Kel-Tec Sub2000 (though a Glock would be better because of magazine interchangeability). I'm speaking ammo wise in both of these matches. I like the idea of having one big supply of one ammo rather than 2 supplies and being forced to leave one gun out if it goes empty. I know those are both handguns but he's got a wife and a teenage kid and they can carry whatever else is required to fulfill the requirements of the OP.
If I had to go to get him and didn't know if I was going to be able to make it back I would be forced to grab the 10/22 and Walther P22, as many bricks of 22LR as I could and a couple bandoleers of 12ga for his shotgun. He doesn't have much ammo on hand so the bricks would give the most bangs for the pound and he lives at the edge of a gulf course with a deer overpopulation problem so the 12ga ammo would be better than .357 or 9mm.

You should not use 60gr SSS ammo in your suppressor. Just sayin'... It's yours, do as you please.

24" of shells under an 18" barrel must look pretty... um... interesting. Even if you chambered one of them, considering the length of a compressed spring that's still... awww crap... Show us a picture or it didn't happen.
I expect when polite society goes tits up I'll be happy with any firearm I can get my hands on or keep my hands on.
If I get to choose, I'll keep the Marlin 1894 CSS in .357 Magnum and a Smith & Wesson 66-4 in .357 Magnum. I know you gave us a two gun limit, but if I have extra room in my pocket I'll cheat and keep my Smith & Wesson 60-9 in .357 Magnum and a NAA .22 Magnum
Anything or anybody far enough away to need something bigger might not need to be shot.

Hmm, just looked it up and confirmed it but I would like to see one first hand to understand how it works. Seeing that just took some of the anointed glow off of my Mossberg 590A1. [:(]
Like others have said, I wouldn't leave unless I had to.
But just to play along ... If it happened tonight, and although I technically own them but my stamps aren't here for the M16 and HK sear pack ... if I had to leave it would be with these two, SiG556-SBR and AMT Longslide 45 on a Kimber double stack frame.
If the wife and daughter were leaving with me, the AUG and G19 for the wife ... SiG-522 and Beretta M70 pistol for Abby
If you really desire something, you'll find a way ?
? otherwise, you'll find an excuse.
OK OK I got it
I'd take them all since I have a BOV.
When I ran out of fuel and had to walk..
I would take my M1Carbine and my Security 6
MY WIFE would take the shotgun and the .380
MY SON would take the ,22 rifle and revolver
MY DAUGHTER.....she'd take her i-pod and earphones [^]
Man, I got to learn all these terms, BOB, BOV, and what not, I might not know to run if I dont know when the zombies come, I am starting to get scared, I think I will grab my Daddy's old .45 and sit in the corner for a bit, Ya'll gotta fill me in on this stuff.

Okay, my turn. We'll be a team of two: the Mrs. and myself. I'll have a Rem 700 in 7-08, with a Ruger Old Vaquero holstered. She'll have an auto shotgun in 12 ga., and her Kimber .45. Based on what I've read on this forum recently, We'll also need to pack along a Kimber Customer Service Rep and a gunsmith. Hope their weight doesn't slow us down.
Living outside of known zombie range, we would focus more on being able to eat along the way.

Buck: I see what you mean now. It is a 2 3/4 or 3" shell shotgun, however, you are correct, with 3" shells it only holds 7, it holds 8 2 3/4 shells.
I actually never thought about it and assumed I had 8 3" in it. THX.
It seems that why the stop production and then came out with the Ranger with 18 1/2 inch barrel. It does hold 8 3" sheels. And almost all 18 1/2" or 20" hicap shotguns seem to as well.

And now you're on the move, or in a defensive postion, or something in between.
Realistically, you're probably going to have 1 handgun, and 1 long gun.
out of your collection which 2 would you keep, assuming you can't carry ammo and mags for more than 2 total
Please keep it to guns YOU CURRENTLY HAVE, not guns you WISHED you had.

Colt M1991A1 pistol
