What is yours?

Mine is "socket wrench". Yes, I KNOW it is a rachet, but call it by the correct name. It is either a "rachet" or a "breaker bar" that holds a socket. A wrench looks completely different! [}:)]

i once new a pretty little wench, with an incredible socket wrench...she could twist it left or twist it right...loosen it up or tighten it tight..she was a special gal and an quite an awsome sight...we called her up when things needed to be adjusted right, and she worked hard to help mostly at night...then one day she moved away and we all just sat and cried....you'd sworn the whole shop just up and died

Is that a challenge? Promise? Prediction?

Another one of them annoying things is when people are asked a question and start out with "So..."

Might as well be saying Ummmm

Did you see that Commercial where they drive that Big Rig to No End and Ratchet through the gears.

Not a term but a (NON) word; irregardless.
I know that people use it all the time but it's not a legitimate word, the proper word would be regardless.

"For sale by owner" Well who the heck else would be selling it?

"Original miles" Well duh, they're all original miles.

    Tactical.

"alloy wheels" when they mean aluminum wheels. Steel is an alloy.

Monkey wrench gets its name from one of it's inventors, a man surnamed Mahnke. From somewhere in the mid-west. A local paper carried a column by a fellow named L. M. Boyd. It was all about similar pointless trivia.

For me, the overly used expression....."It Is What It Is"

should be outlawed and never used again!

To think that expression all started from Gomez telling his lovely wife Morticia about his cousin IT.[:X]

    "Racist"

Since 2008, the term has been used to describe anybody who did not vote DEMOCRAT, anyone who goes to church, anyone who is a law enforcement professional and members of the military, Donald Trump and of his cabinet members. FOX, Breitbart, and Drudge news, Of course gun owners and members of the NRA and SAF etc.

The term goes into minute details now to include anybody who does not like to see people walk around with their pants falling down, does not like hip-hop music and anyone who lives in the South.

There is not enough bytes for an all inclusive list on this forum.
