Be aware of the colored tattoos!
The inks contain cancer causing agents!
Don't ask me how I know!

Never ask why but only the value of.

Well i have 5 myself, do i regret them H*** NO. However i have had problems with them that i never thought (and still dont) think i should have had. I didnt get a job because of them ( Bartending of all things) I found there are small minds out there and they dont realize that the ink dont make the person. Actions and words make the person! Many cultures as remarked earlier in this thread have used tats as a form of art since the begining of time. I recieved my first at my first duty station @ MCRD Parris Island, not to mark the boot camp thing but to remember my friends of youth

I don't have any tattoos right now, but I've contemplated it many times. I just got back from Vegas where I had this thought running through my head the entire time that was telling me to put "Your Name" on my right cheek. That way when a girl asked me if I had one, I could say "I have Your Name tattooed on my ***". I ran out of time and money, so it will have to wait.

I have a tattoo of a snarling wolf with tribal designs around it on my lower back. I got it 3 years ago and haven't regretted it yet. I figure that where I have it, no one can see it unless I want them to, and when I am 80 years old, it will have fallen down to my * anyways from the skin sagging.

None here. Me or Mrs. Mudge. When I lived in VA, my bike plate was "NOTA2Z". Most people couldn't figure it out.
I wonder how these kids with the huge chinese characters tatooed up the side of their necks are going to deal with finding a job that requires business attire. And what's the attraction of chinese characters

Our youngest son spent the summer working at the Hard Rock Cafe in London a couple of years ago....when we met him at the airport, he got off the plane with this wild fuzzy orange and green hair...large ear rings and a small "Yosemite Sam" tattoo on his ankle. Mrs Rembrandt and I were speechless, our mouths dropped to the floor, and we both wondered where we'd gone wrong.......our son started laughing, pulled off the colored wig, ear rings were clip on....but the tattoo was real....I think he gets that rebelious streak from his mothers side of the family....

My wife has a sexy purple cartoon dragon she drew up wrapped around her belly button.
I have only one from a gun explosion, just a little round gray spot burned into my left arm. In my hunting group each of us has a tatto of our favorite hunting sport, one is a stag from Germany, one of a elk, one of a white tail, mine will be of a turkey in full strut on my right shoulder blade someday. Just got to find the right picture and have enough cash for a good artist.

Though I was born to royalty, I was snatched at birth, so treat me as the noble I am!!!

seems funny that this subject would come up today. i was sitting in the coffe shop this morning and this youg woman comes in with a baby that is litteraly covered with tatoos on every visible extremity. had tatood eybrows, her kneck on both sides, both arms and both hands. she also had them on both the outside and inside of her legs and somthing written on her toes. she had a dress on that was cut low in front and back and you could see tatoos on chest and back[darn i coudnt see the bottom of them]. i personaly dont have any and dont particularly like them but if this is what turns you on more power to you.
