    We are kickin around an idea for a get-together sometime this summer.
    We want to include all GB members but make it a central location in Texas.. Try to tie in with maybe a gunshow...or some other event..Hell ,it's Texas there is a event/party about every 20 minutes..
    AS things gel...we will keep ya posted...

    SWWBO: in the 70's we danced in just about every bar around Houston. Gilley's was great until John Travolta showed up. How about the Winchester or Eddie's Ballroom? They were still "Hot Spots" after Gilley's went Hollywood.

    But, now you have to tell us all the story about the guy with the funny looking teeth.

    Wow. Now I was born in Harker Heights, just outside of Fort Hood, while my dad was serving in an ARP (does anyone rememebr those... I'm counting on you DWS ?) during the Vietnam war.

    I've never been assigned back to the area, but, based on this picture, Texas may not be such a bad place to be.

    Lets see what we can put together here is Texas.
    Of course GB members from less fortunate states are very welcome.[:D]
    We can still try to tie it with some sort of event...namely a gun show in early fall.
    I will check and see when the Market Hall show in Dallas is coming up...if they are having one in that time frame.
    Big town big hotels...good eatin places..make a weekend out of it.

    How about Texicans ??

    They have a gun show there the First weekend of each month.
    Saxet Guns ...Loop 410 @ Broadway. Small show about 350 tables...but normally GOOD stuff.
    Small Texas Ranger museum at the park...The Alamo..good grub and the Riverwalk for the night life.
    How about Outdoor ??? Your not "wanted" in that county are you?[8D]
