This topic was just sparked after reading one of nunns topic.... my biggest peeve is all of the irresponsible, freeloadin, welfare collecting lawsuite happy idiots that are defacing this country today. Seems like everybody wants something for nothing!

    Welfare started out as a good thing to help people get back on their feet during hard times, however; the people abused it to the point of being dependent on it,and now feel they have a right to it and are suppose to live that way (as the kids grow up this way).
    It's the same as "social security" - It started out well but is wrongly regulated- isn't that the government way?

    Litterbugs suck pretty bad. I always stop and pick up paper and plastic bottles here on the base as they come off of vehicles and stuff. If I catch someone chunkin' garbage on the base, I follow them and a good butt chewin' is in order. Off base I just pick up what I can and give folks the finger now and then.

    You think im whinin Prokote.... I watch how much of my paycheck goes out every month and you know what ill probably never be rich. Ill also never have child support. I honor and respect my family! I also see what kinda people are on welfare.. and yes there are exceptions, but not many in my book. at such a young age I have been in some tight situations. I pulled through on my own. I worked side jobs and did whatever I had too too put food on the table! I could have very easily went the easy way out.

    My pet peeve is posters that know it all, especially about the military or the constitution. Most of them haven't contributed by serving, yet they feel qualified (no, obligated)to criticize the military, their command or the government in general.

    I'll agree that the government could stand improving, but it sure as he** beats living in a Taliban state !

    will270win.....You beat me to it. Nothing bothers me more. I recently went up into the hills to my favorite out of the way secret camping spot and spent the first two hours cleaning up garbage that some idiot scattered around. We carried three full black garbage bags out with us when we left.

    Did I mention the food facists? These idiot "vegans" kill me with their uneducated lines of thought. Gwyneth Paltrow throws a hissy fit because she is given a cup of tea in a restaurant that was once filled with coffee. These sado-masochistic Hollywood types have S&M sex with leather whips and choker chains at night while jamming heroin needles in their arms and then throw a fit because there was once caffeine in their cup. Food Facists really peeve me.

    P.S. I used some of Michael Savage's language in order to articulate this long-held peeve of mine.

    This is good because both of my peevs are shares here. Littering, I chew * everytime a freind throws something out my window driving down the road. I go camping in northern AZ. all the time. It pisses me off when I find a spot untouched by people and about a year later it looks like a garbage dump because all these crackheads dont know what a garbage bag is.
    Also people that live of the goverment just because life isnt good to them. people who blame god for giving them a lazy brain. It is not that hard to get up and get a JOB. Do we need to spell it out for them. J.O.B. I know some people need help but I think we need to send all of our lazy American freinds to Bosnia or Afganistan or somewhere government doesnt help you. send them there for a couple of years, but that would probly cost more tax dollers.

    My pet peave is people who spell or use simple words wrong. I addmit I miss some dificult words now and then, but to often it seems like people dont proofread there posts...

    Mine is similar to yours. How about all the shooters that show up on private property and leave all thier empties and shot up targets behind. They are usually the ones *!n they have no place they can go shoot. I usually take a couple 5 gallon pails out shooting with me, they come home with alot more in them than what I took.

    When I'm having a conversation about school (I'm in the sheriffs acadamy), and people ask me what kind of gun I carry. I tell them, and they always seem to reply with something similar. "My uncle has a 9mm, its got 15rds, its baaaad..." or "I got the .357magnum at home, you should get one, thats what most police carry."

    my cheerful and most wonderful attitude about life.

    Hands down, it has to be people talking on cell phones and driving at the same time. What is so damn important that a phone call can't wait. A cell phone glued to the ear and the driver involved in an animated conversation while making a turn in a busy intersection, passing another vehicle, negotiating a parking space, driving through a pedestrian laden mall parking lot, drinking coffee, grooming, running a stop light, crossing a railroad track, rear ending stopped traffic, driving on the wrong side of the highway (forgetting that they had already passed the car) and hitting another driver head-on.

    Pack slow, fall stable, pull high, hit dead center.

    never felt financialy stable enough to have children.I have not
    been financialy stable enough because I'm being taxed to pay for
    someone elses irresponsibility!!!! I'VE BEEN RESPONSIBLE.WHERE
    IS MY REWARD!?!Actually, I don't want what's not mine.I'm just

    I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet. Unless I missed it. My biggest pet peev, which I think is responsible for just about every other evil in the world is LIARS. I HATE LIARS!!!!! I can put up with just about every type of person, and get along with darn near anyone, but the second I find out you have lied to me, or are just a straight up a liar with anyone, I'm done with you. I can not overcome my hatred for being lied to. I could go on and on about this........

    People drawing 100% disability on their back and go out and play tackle football on weekends.Broken wrist that is healed still drawing 100% disability while building houses. All of this from the government or should I say my paycheck. People that know everything but could not fight their way out of a wet paper bag.I feel much better now,thanks I needed that!!!!!!!

    Cell phones in public places like restaurants and auctions. I was bidding on an item at an auction when the cell phone of the person next to me rang.. Not once, or twice but 5 times before she answered.
    Hard to concentrate on the bidding with that phone ringing beside me, and then the conversation that came next. I now know more about her kids than I care too.

    I think the one that irks me the most is men that assume because I am a woman, I know nothing about guns... then try to impress me with their "knowledge" of guns. They usually live up quite well to the first word of "*"ume. *LOL
