UPDATE: Alabama and Clemson

I think this game is a toss-up, despite having felt for most of the year that no one could hang close to them in a national championship match. I might still think that way had Alabama looked good against Washington or had Clemson struggled with the Buckeyes. However, I now believe that Clemson might have the edge since they want some revenge for the loss last year and their QB is more experienced than the 5-star Texas Freshman running the Tide's offense...although Bama has a stronger running attack. I still don't know about Sark...should he hold his own and turnovers are a wash, then we should be in for a whale of a good game!
Call it!!!!!!!!!!!!![:D]:
UPDATE:
Is this Alabama team the best college football team that has ever taken the field? Maybe, maybe not, but just take a look at the Depth Charts at the accompanying link and two things will jump right out at you! One is the size of the Bama players. Notice that less than a half dozen of them are under 6 feet tall and none of them are on defense! Also notice that the Tide enjoys an advantage in experience. Add to this, the fact that they are riding a twenty-six game winning streak and looking for another back to back national title, and you have to think that they might be the best football talent to ever take the field aside from being the greatest dynasty in the sport since Saban took the reins. Is this the biggest game since the Trojans had their 34 game winning streak (erased by NCAA violations) snapped, by Vince Young and the Longhorns in their back to back Rose Bowl win in 2006? Whether it is or not, Clemson has to be at the top of their game, break some deep passes, control the ball, and cause the Bama D to adjust to their offense. What say you? [:)]

A couple of years ago when Ohio State held Wisconsin scoreless in the Big 10 title I game I remember thinking 'Oh Crap" what have they turned into? They won the playoff with a 3rd string quarterback.
I thought the same thing when Clemson blanked Ohio State this year. I know Alabama is better this year than they have been for awhile. But, damn, Clemson just shut out Ohio State.
This one is tough. But in the spirit of "what the hell", based on that defensive performance and the offensive game of the Tigers, I'm choosing Clemson. If Alabama wins it will be because they win the kicking game large enough to offset Clemson's defensive advantage.
when is the game on TV?
Try ESPN tomorrow at 8PM ET.
We watched the big game at Emeril's last year. Not sure we have a table already....
ROLL TIDE!
Clemson by 14.
Saint Nick swaps out his offensive coordinator for a drunk that hasn't called plays in 3 years. What could possibly go wrong?
Clemson by 14.
They don't need a coach to call plays. That offense could run their own plays and do just as well. Hell I could call plays for a team whose 2nd string is full of 5 star players.

Any team can be defeated on any given day.
It doesn't happen often, but I have seen 'Bama sh** the bed more than once.
We'll see how it goes.
'Bama by two touchdowns...
8PM ET tonight on ESPN!!!!!!!
If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
I'm downloading and installing an App from the App store, to my iPad, so I can get updates and alerts from my Give-A-Crap meter! [;)][}:)][:D]

Will be a great game. however Bama will roll...
Dabo complaining about field position at half. Hey You are the one who gave up the 4th down play in the first quarter... cost you a touchdown.
Yep.
