While cleaning out some old boxes I came across this photo of my wifes Great Grandfather (Pipe smoker) after a hunt in 1909 along the Columbia river (Camas,Washington state).
Does anyone else have any old photo's they care to share?

Mrs. Blues Grandfather Joe with the bear he shot while timber cruising up in British Columbia. Supposedly the bear stood up from behind a log and he only had time to shoot from the hip with his winchester 94. One shot through the neck..

This is a very old picture of my Grandmother, Great Grandparents and Great, Great Grandmother. My understanding is that this picture was taken shortly after arriving from Shannon, Ireland to America back in the day. 69459107809_0_ALB.jpg

James, it's a .38. He was the Chief of Police on a two man police force. The Smith & Wesson disappeared when he died.

The one on the left is my grandfather at pearl harbor sometime in the 1930's. In the upper right hand corner you can see 'Pearl H---. He retired from the Navy, I believe, in the summer of '41, before the Dec. seventh attack.

I can't remember the name of that company off the top of my head. I could talk with my dad, he probly would remember. He is out of town for a few days but I'll ask him when he gets back.

    IM000046.jpg

I also collect die cast trucks. I have about 50 of them some are very rare. The ceramic one in the picture is one made by my gandmother back in the early 70's of my grandfathers truck.

Both my grandfaters drove, My dad just retired after 40+ years. And I drove for 16 years before I ended up on total disability. If you add up all our experience together it comes out to alot longer than trucks have even existed.

He found the picture in President Lincoln's cabinet, not the relative. What was he doing in President Lincoln's bathroom?
