Santa Fe is not liberal, it is "the city different." Greatest number of alien abductee in any one place in the world. Greatest number of New Age crystal carriers of any town in the world. They are so far out there, they have no interest in politics on this planet. Gotta love the place, it is a swell side show.

Visited Cape Cod, Mass. one time with a girl I was dating and wandered into Provincetown. All of a sudden we looked around and realized we were about the only non-gay/lesbian couple around aside from a German family that looked as surprised as we did. Gay people just making out all over the place. Then the drag queens came out dressed like fatladys out of a western movie and tried to get us to dance with them. Needless to say, we were GONE!

Not counting actual communist or socialist countries I've vistited during my travels, I'd say Vancouver, British Columbia-- home of the Gay Games. Vancouver is not a bad place to meet women since many/most of the guys in the city are occupied with each other and dates for the straight gals can sometimes be tough to find...Even roboman could score!

I would have to say, Liberal, Ks. I would say that nobody can/could argue the point that Liberal is the most liberal town. My brother in Law lives there also. What do I win ?

I lived in Ithaca NY from 1988-1992. Ithaca was the fine city that passed the first mandatory recycling law in the united states. They also gave themselves garbage police at the same time. Nice having somebody pick through your garbage just so they can write you a ticket because you threw something out the wrong way.

They also proudly claimed they were the first U.S. city to elect a socialist party mayor in 1990.

It's also known as the San Francisco of the east coast. I'll leave that to your imagination.

It's a very small city filled with a bunch of busybodies that worry about what everyone else is doing, and they are against whatever they are doing. Especially if it makes that other person happy.

Sometime when I have the stomach for it I'll tell you the story about the green party candidate for city council. Very strange bird indeed. He managed to lose by a landslide to a conservative republican. He did this in a nieghborhood that had more registered liberals than republicans, and conservative voters combined

San Francisco, CA; Daytona Beach, FL during bike week; Bean Blossom, IN during the Bean Blossom Boogy (don't ask); and Buzzard Roost KY!

I'm going to have to agree with 0311 on this one. SEATTLE is the most disgusting piece of crap city I have ever lived in. It's the only place I've ever lived where it's ok to kill and unborn baby, but heaven forbid you "mistreat" your dog. Isn't that nice, animals have more rights than unborn children. Homosexuality is running rampant, drug seekers in the ER get what they want, and even the state and local government are liberals. This place sucks!!!! They shun the police for mearly doing their job. Heaven forbid a cop pull over a car with a black person driving in a black neighborhood known for black gangs causing trouble. That would be racial profiling. I can't wait to move from this miserable excuse for society.

Sorry guys. The most liberal town I have ever visited? Sturgis South Dakota during the motorcycle rally -- few clothes on women, lots of men driving fast, too much drinking, business men, blue collar workers, Hell's Angels, and born agains all hanging out and having way too much fun. Oh I just hate those liberals, especially the scantly clad ones.[:D]

Did I lose something in the translation???[;)]

character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of
    your walks." Thomas Jefferson

Speaking of a disgusting piece of crap, Seattle Tacoma International Airport (Sea Tac) is like a third world nation. When I was there on a connecting flight to Vancouver (best airport I've ever seen), I had a hard time finding signs written in English that gave directions. If you can read Chinese, don't mind dirt and poor lighting, and place no value on your time as you go from one end of the airport to the other, then Sea Tac is great. Otherwise, it's the armpit of the Left Coast.

I live in Austin, and agree. The thing that keeps me sane is working on a farm out new Burnet just northwest of austin every weekend. I'd move, but my wife is from Austin and while she's finishing her degree we're pretty much planted here.. [:(]
