Saw Janis Joplin and the Charles Lloyd Quartet at a local Eagles hall for $2.00 about 1967-68. Went to England that summer, while wandering London one night, found THE ROLLING STONES jamming in a small pub in Chelsea. The crowd started small(15-20) and grew and grew. I thought all this for free was too good to be true but as the eve wore on ERIC CLAPTON and JOHN MAYAL stood in til the wee hours. Haven't been to but 1or2 since. Everthing else since seems pretty small potatoes I guess, as Jimi Hendrix was one year ahead of me at Garfield High School here in Seattle.
I might have missed a couple...

I havent been to very many. I think they cost way to much for what you get. I did however go to the recent CMT on tour. And saw Jake Owen- Little Big Town- & Sugerland in one night. It was the best concert I have been to. Then again I like the music of all three acts.

Saw many "up and coming" bands at a little place north of Boulder called
"Hidden Valley Ranch"
Many MANY concerts over the years.
Last one was Jethro Tull, Red Rocks, 71.
Didn't care for the "tear gas" though.
Can you believe, the high end, Madonna tickets are $354.00 this year? [:0][:0][:0]
I wouldn't pay $3.54 to see Madonna.
