Took it from a friend who had no business with a pistol. Why I kept it I don't know. I could live with the shame of my secret NO MORE! I've even custom ramped it and modified the slide with a lock back notch. I can fire several magazines through it without a jam. [xx(]

Who else will admit to the secret in the gun safe? Will any others step forward and admit they have a P.O.S.? The first step towards getting better is admiting you have a problem.[:I]

    Hi My name is Giant and I dont have enough money to buy guns....

    I think even cheap junk is still fun and has a place
    Cheap guns are good for honeing your smithing skills
    The junkiest gun I own is a calico m-100p 22 pistol gun is not well made but it shoots OK and thanks to the high capacity ban it is worth a bunch [:D]

    BUT IT'S NOT MINE! I know, I know, I'm in denial, just because I don't technically own it, what is it doing in my safe next to a P7 and a Raging Bull?

    And, I hate to admit it, it has never jammed (I've put three boxes through it to see how it worked).



    Got a new gun for my ex-wife.....pretty good trade, huh?

    Alright, I'll get in on this too. I admit to owning a Hi-Point .380 and, dare I say it...............a Jennings 22. I figure if I could throw the Jennings at an intruder and knock 'em out or something, cause that's about all its good for.

    Also have an Arminius 38sp, but I actually really like that one -- works great and is real accurate.

    I agree with giant that even cheap guns have a place. Wouldn't trust my life to one, but some of them can be fun, especially if you don't have a bunch of money.

    Im about to join your group after owning my S&W 22A. Dang thing jams and doesnt eject shells so often I've almost thought about trading it.

    I confess. I have a nickle plated Phoenix 25 with imitation ?? grips. I hope to one day have the high quality guns that y'all do. I have high expectations of a High Point 380 one day. There I feel better already.

    I have a Jennings J-22 that I've had for 16 years, officially making it the longest I've ever kept a gun[:I][:I][:I]
    It hasn't been fired in at least 12 years, the grips are cracked and the safety is broken. It's essentially in a box of junk...

    In it's hey day I actually shot it alot, well over a 1000 rounds through it. I actually did a little amateur work on it, and reliability tested it several times. Best I ever got was 97 shots out of a hundred without jamming. That's my only junker, but I've owned others including Phoenix HP-22 (which really wasn't too bad), Lorcin 22 (key-holed almost every shot) and worst of all a Sterling 302. Never owned a true Junker centerfire handgun at least.

    Hi, I'm ______ and I have a weakness for buying small pistols from people in retirement homes.

    These firearms usually look good, have names I've never heard of before, have not been fired in years, and often have broken components within which are difficult to replace.

    Furthermore, in my zeal, I likely pay 50% to 300% more than the article is worth.
    I have only lately begun curbing my excesses, and only paid 35% more than actual value during my latest episode...

    Hi, I'm Joey and I gave away my Jennings J-22 because I didn't feel right about charging someone for it[;)] I think Phillybilly is a member of the jam-o-matic club now[B)] Junkiest guns I own now are a HP-22 and a 40S&W Hipoint. Would like to bash on them but neither one has had so much as a hiccup, guess I got lucky[^]

    Well, since I am feeling a bit better, I will contribute to this group therapy thread... AHEM, I have an old Sears 22 semi-auto rifle that the tube is so loose it rattles side to side, the bolt (sticks straight out like a Mosin Nagent)wobbles, the wood is ,well, its wood is all I will say. Its filthy and I dont even know if it shoots. I got it, nevermind, I just cant seem to part with it. I sell my better guns and keep this POS.

    I have a tec-9 with a worn out firing pin spring causing every other round to fail to fire. I have put 1 mag through it and gave up. Havne't replaced the spring because I can't really see myself shooting it again.
