Ducati's are nice machines. They are a bit more pricey and more expensive to service, but they are still very good machines. They have gotten much better in the engine area. The older Desmo engines need quite a bit of care with regular valve adjustments. Ducati appies what they learn in racing and is one of only 2 OEM's thet has an "in house" R&D and racing department. Ducati has Corse, and Honda has HRC. They strive to build an excellent machine and that shows.

Just FYI, Ducati is coming to America to race this year. they will have a full scale factory backed assault in the AMA Chevrolet Superbike Championship. In my opinion they have signed the most talented racer in the AMA series to pilot their 999 Superbike. That would be Eric Bostrom.

Michilen tires will also be active inb the AMA series to give the states powerhouse Dunlop a run for their money. Should be very intersting.
